Terms of Service

1. Eligibility — 18 and over

Discuria is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old. By creating an account or redeeming an invite code, you represent that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we will delete any account we learn belongs to a minor.

2. What Discuria does

Discuria is a thinking workspace. You solve open-ended problems, and we analyze the text of your problem-solving sessions — including your iterations and any AI-interaction traces — to produce a cognitive profile. This profile is scored across six dimensions: Analytical Rigor, Creative Range, Metacognitive Depth, Intellectual Humility, Synthesis Ability, and Persistence.

These scores are an automated, experimental signal about your problem-solving process. They are not an assessment of your intelligence, employability, or worth, and they are not a substitute for human judgment.

3. Cognitive profiling — informed consent

By using Discuria you explicitly consent to the cognitive profiling described above. We process the natural-language content of your sessions, including text you write and exchanges with AI assistants inside the workspace, to compute and store your six-dimension scores. Third-party large language model providers may process this text on our behalf solely to generate scores and feedback.

Cognitive scores are probabilistic and imperfect. You should not rely on them for any decision with legal or material consequences, and neither should anyone else.

4. Your content and portfolio

You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant Discuria a limited license to store, process, and display that content as part of the service — for example, to build your personal thinking portfolio and to generate shareable score cards that you choose to publish.

Company discovery is opt-in. Your profile and sessions are not surfaced to companies unless you explicitly opt in. You may withdraw from company discovery at any time from your settings.

5. Acceptable use

Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, harassing, or that contains the personal data of others without their consent. Do not attempt to game the scoring system, reverse-engineer it, scrape the platform, or share your invite code in violation of its terms. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service.

6. No employment or other decisions

Discuria is not a credentialing, hiring, or background-check service. Cognitive scores must not be used as the sole basis for employment, admission, lending, insurance, or any similar decision about a person. Discuria disclaims responsibility for any such use.

7. Beta — no warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. During the beta, features may be incomplete, data may be lost, and availability is not guaranteed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Discuria is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

8. Data deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing legal@discuria.space. We will delete your sessions, scores, and profile within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the beta evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
